Overview

Davies® Acreex™ Floor Coating is a durable, chlorinated rubber-based floor paint specially formulated to provide superior protection and chemical resistance for concrete surfaces. Designed for light to moderate industrial use, it forms a tough, flexible, and water-resistant film that protects concrete from abrasion, spills, oils, acids, and alkalis.

With its excellent adhesion and wear resistance, Acreex™ is ideal for warehouses, workshops, garages, ramps, driveways, and utility rooms. It delivers a smooth, semi-gloss finish that enhances the appearance of floors while making them easier to clean and maintain.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure concrete is fully cured (minimum 28 days for new concrete), clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, laitance, or old coatings. Mechanical preparation (grinding or acid etching) is recommended for best adhesion.

Priming:

Use Davies® Concrete Neutralizer DV-100-X to treat raw concrete before application if necessary.

Application Methods:

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

Thin with Davies® CRB Reducer as needed (typically 10–15% depending on application method)

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 30 minutes
• Recoat: 4–6 hours
• Full Cure: 5–7 days

Coverage:

20–25 square meters per 4L per coat (depending on surface condition)

Finish:

Smooth, semi-gloss

Pack Sizes:

Available in 1L, 4L, and 16L

Color Availability:

Available in a range of industrial colors such as Gray, Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, and more (custom shades available upon request)

Topcoat Compatibility:

Typically used as a standalone finish coat for floors. Can be overcoated with itself for thicker, more durable layering. Not intended for use under epoxy or polyurethane coatings.

Safety & Clean-Up:

• Flammable – keep away from heat and open flames
• Use in a well-ventilated area
• Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, mask, goggles)
• Clean tools with Davies® CRB Reducer immediately after use
• Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place
• Keep out of reach of children
