Davies® Concrete Neutralizer DV 100-X is a professional-grade surface preparation solution formulated to neutralize excess alkali (lime) in freshly poured concrete, plaster, or masonry. High alkalinity in unneutralized surfaces can lead to paint discoloration, peeling, or poor adhesion—especially when applying water-based or alkyd-based coatings.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Allow new concrete or plaster to cure for at least 14–28 days. Ensure the surface is free from dust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants.

Dilution Ratio:

Mix 1 part Davies® Concrete Neutralizer DV 100-X with 16–20 parts clean water (e.g., 250 mL Neutralizer per 4L water).

Application Method:

Apply diluted solution by brush, roller, or mop. Allow surface to absorb the solution fully.

After Application:

Let it stand for 24 hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry before painting.

Coverage:

40–50 square meters per liter of concentrate (depending on surface porosity)
