Overview

Davies® EpoSeal™ is a two-component epoxy-based sealer formulated to penetrate, seal, and prepare porous surfaces such as concrete, masonry, and cement for high-performance topcoats. Designed for both interior and exterior use, EpoSeal™ strengthens weak surfaces, improves adhesion, and provides chemical, moisture, and abrasion resistance—making it an essential base for epoxy flooring, industrial coatings, and waterproofing systems.

With its low-viscosity formulation, EpoSeal™ deeply penetrates the substrate to form a strong barrier, helping prevent dusting, peeling, and moisture-related failures. It’s ideal for use in warehouses, garages, kitchens, basements, and commercial spaces requiring long-lasting protection.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, curing compounds, laitance, or old coatings. New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days. Mechanical preparation (e.g. grinding or acid etching) is recommended for best results.

Mixing Instructions:

Mix Part A (Base) and Part B (Hardener) in the specified ratio (typically 1:1 or as indicated on packaging). Stir thoroughly until uniform. Use within pot life (approx. 1–2 hours).

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

Typically not required; if necessary, use Davies® Epoxy Reducer sparingly

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 2–4 hours
• Recoat or Topcoat: 8–12 hours
• Full Cure: 7 days

Coverage:

20–25 square meters per 4L set per coat (varies depending on surface porosity)

Finish:

Clear to slightly amber semi-gloss (depending on surface and absorption)

Pack Sizes:

Available in 1L set and 4L set (includes Base and Hardener)

Safety & Clean-Up:
