Davies® Gloss-It™ is a high-performance quick-drying enamel paint designed for use on interior and exterior wood, metal, and properly primed masonry surfaces. Its high-gloss finish provides a sleek, durable, and vibrant look while offering excellent protection against weathering, corrosion, and daily wear and tear.

Formulated with alkyd resin, this enamel paint dries fast, levels smoothly, and forms a tough film that resists chipping, fading, and staining — making it ideal for doors, windows, gates, furniture, railings, cabinets, and more.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Remove all dirt, rust, grease, and peeling paint. Sand glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Use metal primer or wood primer as needed for bare surfaces.

Priming:

• Use Davies Metal Primer Red Oxide or Davies Zinc Chromate Primer for metal
• Use Davies Wood Primer for wood
• For masonry: apply Davies Concrete Primer if surface is new or uncoated

Application Methods:

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

• For brushing/rolling: Thin with Davies® Paint Thinner (max 10%)
• For spraying: Adjust viscosity by thinning up to 20%

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 1–2 hours
• Recoat: 6–8 hours

Coverage:

25–30 square meters per 4L per coat, depending on surface and method
