Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure wood is clean, dry, well-sanded, and dust-free. If required, apply a compatible lacquer sanding sealer first for better grain filling and adhesion.

Application Method:

Apply using spray gun or high-quality brush. Stir well before use. Apply in light, even coats. Sand lightly between coats for best results.

Thinning:

Thin with Davies® Lacquer Thinner if necessary (typically 10–20% for spray applications)

Drying Time:

• Dust Free: 10–15 minutes
• Recoat: 1–2 hours
• Full Cure: 24–48 hours

Coverage:

8–10 square meters per liter per coat (depending on surface porosity and method)
