Davies® Interior Wood Primer DV-1360 White is a premium alkyd-based primer formulated to seal, protect, and prepare interior wood surfaces for topcoating. Designed for use on softwoods and hardwoods alike, this fast-drying, high-coverage primer provides excellent adhesion, enhances paint durability, and prevents tannin bleed-through—making it the ideal base for enamel or alkyd topcoats.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Sand surface to remove gloss, old coatings, and irregularities. Clean thoroughly to remove dust, oil, grease, or moisture.

Application Methods:

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

Thin with Davies® Paint Thinner as needed (typically 5–10% for brushing; up to 15% for spraying)

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 2–3 hours
• Recoat: 6–8 hours
• Sanding & Topcoating: After 12 hours or when fully dry

Coverage:

25–30 square meters per 4L per coat (depending on wood porosity and surface condition)

Finish:

Flat / Matte white
