Davies® Liquid Tile Primer DV-5-700 White is a high-performance, white-pigmented primer designed to provide superior adhesion on non-porous, glossy, and hard-to-paint surfaces such as ceramic tiles, glass, pre-painted metal, plastic laminates, and baked enamel finishes. Specially formulated to promote excellent bonding of topcoats, this primer helps prevent common coating failures like flaking, blistering, or peeling.

Its white finish enhances topcoat color vibrancy and offers better coverage—making it ideal for repainting projects where light or pastel topcoats are used. Whether for interior or exterior renovation, this primer ensures professional, long-lasting results.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure surface is dry and thoroughly cleaned of wax, grease, dust, soap scum, or loose material. Glossy surfaces must be lightly sanded to increase mechanical adhesion. Rinse and dry before application.

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

Use as is – do not thin

Drying Time:

  • Touch Dry: 30 minutes
  • Recoat/Topcoat: 2–3 hours
  • Full Cure: 24 hours

Coverage:

25–30 square meters per 4L per coat, depending on surface type
