Davies® Liquid Tile Putty DV-5-1000 White is a premium alkyd-based surfacing putty formulated to correct surface imperfections on concrete, masonry, and plastered walls prior to applying enamel or alkyd-based topcoats. It is specially designed to fill pores, hairline cracks, and uneven textures, creating a smooth, high-build base that enhances paint coverage and finish quality.

Ideal for both interior and exterior use, this white putty provides excellent adhesion, is easy to apply, and sands to a smooth, even surface. It is the perfect underlayer for high-gloss finishes such as Davies® Liquid Tile Cast, ensuring a clean and refined look for architectural and decorative concrete elements.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, mildew, and loose material. New concrete must be cured for at least 28 days before application.

Application Methods:

Apply using a putty knife, trowel, or broad blade. Spread evenly and press firmly into imperfections.

Number of Coats:

1–2 coats as needed, allowing full drying and sanding between layers

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 2–3 hours
• Sanding/Recoat: 8–12 hours
• Topcoat Application: After surface is fully dry and smooth

Coverage:

6–8 square meters per liter per coat (depending on surface condition)
