Overview

Davies® Megacryl™ Flat is a high-quality, 100% acrylic latex paint formulated to deliver a smooth, flat finish with excellent hiding power and long-lasting protection for both interior and exterior surfaces. Its flat, non-reflective sheen makes it ideal for ceilings, walls, and broad surfaces, effectively minimizing surface imperfections while providing durable coverage.

Made with advanced acrylic technology, Megacryl™ Flat is alkali- and mildew-resistant, washable, and built to withstand harsh tropical weather, making it a reliable choice for residential and commercial applications.

Recommended Uses

  • Interior: Ceilings, living room walls, bedrooms, hallways
  • Exterior: Concrete facades, perimeter walls, sidings, soffits
  • Suitable for concrete, plaster, masonry, drywall, fiber cement, and wood

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, chalk, or peeling paint. New masonry should cure for at least 28 days.

Recommended Primer:

Use Davies® Megacryl Concrete Primer or Davies® Liquid Tile Primer (for difficult surfaces)

Application Method:

Apply using brush, roller, or spray. Stir thoroughly before and during use.

Thinning:

May be thinned with up to ½ liter of clean water per 4-liter can for brush/roller. For spray, dilute as necessary.

Drying Time:

  • Touch Dry: 30 minutes
  • Recoat: 2–3 hours
  • Full Cure: 7 days

Coverage:

25–30 square meters per 4-liter can per coat (depending on surface porosity and texture)

Flat / matte

Available in 1L, 4L, and 16L

Color Availability:

  • White (standard)
  • Tintable to a wide range of colors using Davies® Colorants

System & Application Notes:

  • For best results on bare masonry, use with Davies® Concrete Neutralizer followed by recommended primer
  • Apply 2 coats for optimal coverage and finish durability
  • Avoid painting during rainy or extremely humid conditions

Safety & Clean-Up:

  • Water-based and low odor
  • Use in well-ventilated areas
  • Clean tools with water immediately after use
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Keep container sealed when not in use
  • Keep out of reach of children
