Davies® SafeTrack™ Thermoplastic Primer DV-TPS-030 is a specialized adhesion-promoting primer formulated to improve the bonding of thermoplastic road marking materials to concrete, asphalt, or cementitious pavements. It acts as a surface conditioner and sealer, ensuring maximum adhesion, faster drying, and longer-lasting road markings, especially in high-traffic areas.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, and debris. For new concrete, allow curing for at least 28 days. Old surfaces should be swept or cleaned with high-pressure air or water.

Application Method:

Apply by brush, roller, or spray in a thin, even coat over the marking area.

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 5–10 minutes
• Ready for Thermoplastic Application: 10–15 minutes
• Avoid applying in wet or rainy conditions

Coverage:

Approximately 8–10 square meters per liter (depending on surface texture and porosity)

Finish:

Clear to slightly amber (dries clear); non-reflective
