Recommended Uses

• Automotive metal panels (properly pretreated)
• Wood furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free of grease, rust, wax, or dust. Sand glossy areas to promote adhesion. Use appropriate metal etching primers on bare metal if needed.

Application Methods:

Spray application is recommended for best finish. Can also be brushed for smaller areas.

Thinning:

Thin with Davies® Lacquer Thinner (up to 20–30%) as needed for spray equipment

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 15–20 minutes
• Sandable: 30–45 minutes
• Recoat: After sanding and dust removal

Sanding:

Use fine-grit sandpaper (320–400 grit) to smooth between coats

Coverage:

10–12 square meters per liter per coat (depending on surface porosity and application)

Finish:

Flat/smooth primer gray (or white, depending on variant)

Safety & Clean-Up:

• Flammable – keep away from heat and open flames
• Use with adequate ventilation and appropriate PPE
• Avoid prolonged skin contact or inhalation of vapors
• Clean tools with Davies® Lacquer Thinner immediately after use
• Store in a cool, dry place in tightly sealed containers
• Keep out of reach of children
