Davies® WallArt™ Deco Prime is a high-quality, water-based primer specifically formulated for use under decorative coatings and specialty finishes such as Davies® WallArt™ Textura, Stucco, Granula, and similar textured systems. It promotes excellent adhesion, uniform absorption, and enhances the final appearance and durability of decorative topcoats.

This ready-to-use primer is ideal for interior and exterior masonry substrates, helping to seal porous surfaces and provide a consistent base for creative and architectural coatings. Deco Prime is an essential first step in achieving long-lasting, vibrant, and professional-looking finishes.

Recommended Uses

• Primer for WallArt™ Textura, Stucco, Granula, or other textured coatings
• Concrete walls and ceilings
• Cement render and plaster finishes

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, and chalking. Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days.

Application Method:

Apply using a brush, roller, or spray. Stir well before use.

Thinning:

Use clean water if needed (maximum 5–10% dilution for easier application)

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 30 minutes to 1 hour
• Recoat / Decorative Topcoat: 2–4 hours
• Full Cure: 7 days

Coverage:

10–12 square meters per liter per coat (depending on surface texture and porosity)

Finish:

Flat, white or off-white (intended as a base coat)

Available in 1L, 4L, and 16L

Color:

White (standard); tintable for better matching with topcoat tones

Topcoat Compatibility:

Use with:
