Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation:

Ensure wood surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove dust, grease, wax, or old flaking finishes. Sand to desired smoothness and wipe clean before application.

Application Methods:

Brush, roller, or spray

Thinning:

May be thinned with Davies® Paint Thinner (if necessary, 5–10% for easier application)

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 2–4 hours
• Recoat: 6–8 hours
• Full Cure: 24–48 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)

Coverage:

20–25 square meters per 4L per coat (depending on wood porosity and texture)

Finish:

Clear Gloss (natural look with enhanced shine)

Topcoat Compatibility:

Acts as both sealer and final coat. May be applied in 2–3 coats for added gloss and durability. Not recommended for use under water-based coatings.

• Wear gloves and mask during use
• Clean tools with Davies® Paint Thinner immediately after use
