Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation:
Ensure the wood is bare, clean, and free from sealers, wax, varnish, or paint. Sand surface if needed and wipe clean of dust.
Mixing Instructions:
Mix equal parts of Davies® Wood Bleach Part A and Part B in a non-metallic container. Apply the solution immediately after mixing.
Application Method:
Use a clean brush or sponge. Apply evenly across the wood surface. For deeper bleaching, a second application may be applied after the first dries.
Drying Time:
- Bleach Reaction: 4–6 hours
- Fully Dry: 8–12 hours before sanding or topcoating
Post-Treatment:
Neutralize with clean water or a mild vinegar solution. Allow surface to dry completely before sanding or applying stain/varnish.

Safety & Clean-Up:
- Use gloves and eye protection
- Work in a well-ventilated area
- Avoid contact with skin or eyes
- Do not store mixed solution—prepare only what is needed
- Clean tools with water immediately after use
- Store Parts A and B separately, tightly sealed, in a cool, dry place
- Keep out of reach of children
